‘Candlelight Processional’ will be back on November 26 for the EPCOT International Holiday Festival!
The holidays are just around the corner and while we’re not even about to celebrate the Halloween season in every way possible, it’s also time to start planning for the Christmas season. We are very happy to announce that the “Candlelight Processional†will be returning to EPCOT this year for the Holiday Festival!

The “Candlelight Processional†is an extremely popular vacation event at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. This year, the event will take place at the EPCOT from November 26 to December 30. According to the Disney Parks Blog, “This is a longstanding tradition of Disney parks, dating back to 1958 at Disneyland Park. Walt Disney World guests have enjoyed the annual “candlelight procession†since 1971, initially at Magic Kingdom Park and since 1994 at EPCOT. After being greatly missed during the holiday season of last year, this magnificent production will once again honor the America Gardens Theater with a live orchestra, choir and famous narrator telling the traditional Christmas story in a spectacular way and heartwarming.
Cast members, musicians, singers and narrators will need to be fully immunized due to the ongoing pandemic, so this year the park will unfortunately not be hosting choirs from different community groups and schools. Instead, to maintain the grandeur of the performance, they are expanding their chorus of cast members to fill the stage with vocals. Disney says they are optimistic that guest choirs will be able to join the event next year for this special holiday occasion.
Normally, a famous guest hosts the “Candlelight Processional”, but Disney always strives to confirm the famous narrators’ schedule and details on “Candlelight Processional” dining packages.
