Dileesh Pothan and Fahadh’s “Joji” Wins Grand Prize at Swedish International Film Festival, Entertainment News
Malayalam film ‘Joji’ won the award for best international film at the 2021 Swedish International Film Festival (SIFF).
The film’s overall cast includes Fahadh Faasil, Baburaj, Shammi Thilakan, Unnimaya Prasad and Basil Joseph, among others in key roles.
Sharing the update with fans, Bhavana Studios, the production banner funding the film wrote, “Great news from Sweden! JOJI won the award for best international feature film at the Swedish International Film Festival (SIFF) 2021. ”

The film is directed by Dileesh Pothan and is written by Syam Pushkaran.
As for the film festival, SIFF is scheduled to take place from October 25 to 31 this year. Upon receipt of the film submission, SIFF began the selection process with the announcement of an eligibility list, followed by the first round of selection and subsequently the list of film winners selected for screening. Some of the films from the selected batch will be handpicked by the judges in Sweden and shown to an audience during the physical screening which will take place in October 2021.
