Environment and human rights at the Life After Oil (LAO) International Festival

LIFE AFTER OIL, the International Film Festival in Sardinia which deals specifically with environmental and human rights issues at the international level, has reached its 9th edition despite all the difficulties encountered in the organization and in such difficult times for everybody. The event designed and directed by Massimiliano Mazzotta has increasingly become an important opportunity for dialogue for filmmakers, activists and associations of different nationalities who wish to discuss energy issues and the search for a more sustainable way of life. and suitable for everyone.

Life After Oil also confirms its keen eye on human rights through this year’s collaboration with the Centro di Accoglienza Straordinaria de Villanovaforru (the Reception Center for Asylum Seekers), with Centro guests, actively involved during the days of the Festival.

Life After Oil also confirms its keen eye on human rights through this year’s collaboration with Fridays for Future, UniCa LGBT of the University of Cagliari, the Reception Center for Asylum Seekers (ERC) de Villanovaforru and the Sanluri Vignarelli Institute of Higher Education who make up the jury for – respectively – the Animations, Experimental Shorts and World Panorama Shorts categories.
