London’s premier free outdoor theater and performance art festival, Greenwich+Docklands International Festival, is back for 2022 and has just announced this year’s highlights. Among the programming of international artists, House of Suarez will present its contemporary dance performance House of Oak and Irontheater company Fevered Sleep with their immersive audio walk experience The sky is filled with thunderCrowd_Ctrl with a visual dance and LED show, and Cia Maduixa with their performance Migrate about migrant women fighting for a home.

They also announced two installations that will appear as part of the festival, including one by Peter Hudson Charona massive 32-foot-tall artwork featuring zoetrope depictions of pre-film animation technology of rowing skeletons, and that of Stephanie Lüning Foam Island: Version XVIII which will unleash a tidal wave of multicolored foam on the Greenwich Peninsula.
