The Jewish communities of Mercer / Bucks Join in celebrating at the Jewish Cultural Festival on August 8, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Adath Israel Congregation, 1958 Lawrenceville Rd, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

This lively event, rain or shine, will feature live music, delicious kosher food, door prizes, lots of shopping, in-person demonstrations, crafts and games for everyone. kids, and lots of chatter. The festival also marks a huge opportunity to meet many faces from the area’s synagogues, non-profit organizations, schools and local businesses.

Participants in the Jewish Cultural Festival will enjoy the variety of musical styles of the Jugtown Mountain String Band, which will perform live during most of the festival. Those with kids won’t want to miss children’s musician, Tim Hoh, from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Children and adults alike will find themselves singing and dancing with the two talented musical groups.

A free door prize ticket is offered to any adult who has pre-registered for the event.

The Jewish Cultural Festival is located on the grounds of the Adath Israel Congregation, 1958 Lawrenceville Rd, in Lawrenceville, NJ, across from Rider University. Disabled parking is available at Adath, and general parking is available at Rider University. It is possible to drop off people before parking at Rider. Admission is free, but some festival activities are chargeable. In case of bad weather, the festival will move inside.

The Jewish cultural festival follows the guidelines of the CDC. Therefore, not everyone who has been vaccinated is required to wear a mask. However, those who are not vaccinated are required to wear a mask.
