Jewish Film Festival Broadcasting Common Purpose with a special appearance by Gadi Kinda at Children’s Mercy Park on August 14

The Kansas City Jewish Film Festival (KCJFF) will screen “A Common Goal” at Children’s Mercy Park as part of the Movies at the Park series of Sporting Club special events. The event will take place on Sunday, August 14, doors open at 12 p.m. CT. and concessions will be available for purchase from the Ellenberg Experience Kosher Food Truck.

“A Common Goal” tells the untold story of the diverse Israeli men’s national team navigating the difficult politics of a region while competing in the World Cup qualifiers. The players experience controversy fueled by prejudiced media and fans, but they put their differences aside to pursue their common dream.

As a member of Israel’s men’s national team and former Israeli Premier League player, Sporting Kansas City midfielder Gadi Kinda will talk about his experiences at the end of the film. Kinda made five appearances for Israel, scored on his debut and over a nine-year career racked up over 200 appearances for Israel.
