The GRCC International Language Club Cultural Festival will be held on April 13

A cultural festival presented by the International Language Club will take place on Wednesday, April 13 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Ford Fieldhouse Arena at the GRCC.

What kind of memories can you bring back from an eight culture loop?
您可以从八种文化中带回家什么样的纪念品呢? asks Amanda Seeley, in Mandarin and English.

Seeley is a GRCC student, president of the Asian Student Organization, and a member of the International Language Club’s Cultural Festival. The International Language Club invites all GRCC students, faculty, staff, and community members to attend this event.

Note that there has been a change in the location of the event and it will no longer be held at the Raider Grill but now at the Ford Fieldhouse Arena. Event perks include free food, dancing, music, games, and more. Representing multiple cultures, countries, different languages ​​and a student stand for overseas travel/study. The event organizers have planned to spend $5,000 on this event, so there will be plenty of fun for the students.

“Come and experience a colorful cultural festival,” exclaimed Poojitha Poduguru, president of the International Language Club and coordinator of this event. “We will have cultural foods, some even shipped from overseas in order to showcase cultures with authenticity. We plan to feature cultural displays from America, India and potentially more.

Do not hesitate to RSVP for this event. Participants can visit showcases, stands and take part in cultural festivities. As the poster for the event states, “come and discover the roots of our campus community without leaving town”.
