The Great Indian Film Festival brings “TGIFF Rising Stars” a unique international platform for student filmmakers

New Delhi [India]February 5 (ANI/Target Media): The Great Indian Film Festival is a traveling film festival that aims to bring together filmmakers and cultures from around the world on one platform with the aim of making art and cinema accessible to all .
TGIFF strongly supports young talent and the innovative, shorter medium of storytelling. Through this festival, he popularizes India and its great talents to the rest of the world.
It aims to put on a great show by bringing together talented directors, actors and producers from around the world by sharing their thoughts, ideas and showcasing their films at the annual TGIFF awards ceremony.
In 2019, during the first nationwide lockdown, Vevek Paul, the founder of TGIFF took the initiative and launched lockdown movies especially for school children.
TGIFF encourages students to use technology and their cell phones to tell their stories.
The promise was to bring the best films to the main TGIFF festival which takes place once a year.
The film directed by Class XII student Shaurya Babbar from Lotus Valley School was chosen as the winner in the first edition of Lockdown Films also known as “TGIFF Rising Stars”. The film was also screened among the best short films around the world at Saket PVR.

For the current year, “TGIFF Rising Stars” film festival, which is a wing of Great Indian Film Festival, has started accepting films made by children from November 30, 2021, the festival will end on November 19. February 2022 and will be held online on TGIFF YouTube channel.
The festival will be visited and attended by students from all over the world.
“TGIFF Rising Stars” Gives every student and aspiring filmmaker the opportunity to showcase their talent on an international stage all their own.
This year’s event is also supported by Sports Box, a one-of-a-kind sports business in the heart of Gurgaon.
Students are encouraged to use their cell phones to make films, we are happy to have Rapid Repair as our technology partner who are fully supportive of student filmmakers with their gadget needs.
Also adding their support are chocolatiers Stradiotto, & ikooji The Gurgaon Children’s Furniture Movie.
We certainly see a colorful student film festival where children explore stories and express themselves through short films and music videos.
