When does the 2021 Epcot International Holiday Festival begin?

While Walt Disney World has an EARdescent glow of the 50th anniversary celebrations, the 2021 Epcot International Holiday Festival is expected to spotlight holiday traditions around the world. Much like Thanksgiving turkey was devoured, Epcot is unwrapping a holiday treat for everyone to enjoy.

The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays 2021 presented by AdventHealth begins November 26, 2021 and ends December 30, 2021. In addition to all the delicious food from the various holiday cuisines, the beloved Candlelight Processional with its famous narrators is from return. In a way, this year’s event is filled with even more holiday cheer.

What’s new at the 2021 Epcot International Holiday Festival?

As guests roam Epcot, the various vacation kitchens tempt with their delicious food offerings. From traditional classics to innovative versions of vacation favorites, it can be hard to resist eating it all.

A new offering this year is the Chestnuts & Good Cheer Holiday Kitchen. As the holiday song goes, fireside roasted chestnuts are both a visual and a flavor that many people can enjoy.

This new holiday kitchen sets the tone with its aroma. From fire-roasted chestnuts to cinnamon-glazed almonds and cashews, the small snacks are the perfect bite to savor as guests stroll around and enjoy all the holiday decor.

Several Epcot favorites are back. The Holiday Cookie Stroll is back. Even though it takes a few trips to enjoy all of these cookies, it is well worth it. While anyone can have a favorite cookie, the SNICKERS-Doodle cookie could be the one Santa would love to see on Christmas Eve.

While the entire holiday menu has yet to be revealed, there will be plenty of offerings, both familiar and new. For anyone looking to sample the joy of the holidays, Epcot will sparkle and shine in the best possible way.

The 2021 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays begins November 26, 2021. Reservations for theme parks are required. For more information on health and safety protocols as well as tickets, please visit the Disney Parks website.
